The Canadian Association for Financial Empowerment (CAFE-ACAF.org) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Gryschuk to its Board of Directors for the 2025–2029 term.

Sarah joins CAFE as Senior Legal Counsel at Sagen Mortgage Insurance Company Canada, bringing her expertise in regulatory, corporate, and ethical matters within the national housing and lending ecosystem. Her background strengthens our Board at a critical time when transparency and high-standard governance are essential for serving Canadians.

Sarah’s passion for ethical consumer advocacy aligns with CAFE’s mission. We are a collective of passionate ambassadors representing a diverse community, dedicated to walking alongside clients and meeting them where they are. Sarah will help us advance national standards and strengthen oversight in an industry devoted to support Canadians facing financial hardship.

“Sarah brings clarity, integrity, and a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks to our Board,”

said William Moores, CEO of CAFE.

“She joins us as we continue to elevate and champion for ethical, human-first approach through enhanced certification standards and professional practices. Her leadership will guide us with purpose and care for our industry.”
