Refund Policy

All returns must be authorized within 30 days of receipt of registration for a credit, less any applicable shipping charges. A $75 restocking fee will be assessed on returns. Please contact certification@cafe-acaf.org to get a return authorization BEFORE you send back the items. Authorized returns MUST be shipped within 10 days from the return approval date to our shipping address. Unauthorized returns will be refused.

Any items that are used or improperly handled, or damaged due to improper care will not be eligible to be returned.

Canadian Association for Financial Empowerment (CAFE)

CAFE is an association under Special Statute with it’s own Act. CAFE is dedicated to advance, regulate and promote financial literacy, education, and empowerment. CAFE focuses on Certification of professionals and the Accreditation of not-for-profit credit counselling agencies, through helping individuals and families achieve financial well-being.

Through education, resources, and personalized financial counselling, CAFE provides membership, programs, training, professional designation under class 35, the Certified Financial Counsellor (CFC™) and support. CAFE plays a pivotal role in enhancing financial awareness and offering practical tools for individuals to take control of their finances, ultimately fostering financial stability and empowerment across all communities.

For over 60 years, CAFE (formerly the Ontario Association of Not-For-Profit Credit Counselling Services, combined with the Canadian Association of Credit Counselling Services) rebranded and launched this new era in Canada on June 18, 2024. See our News for more information.
